The work, published in the Australasian Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, found that 24 per cent of those with problem acne reported depressive symptoms and nine per cent believed they had anxiety. About 35 per cent of the 1,329 students with problematic acne admitted having suicidal thoughts, with 13 per cent saying they had attempted suicide.... | |

| | | A tool for viciousness | | Posted Monday, October 23, 2006 3:13:09 PM by Blog57 Team | | The Internet is an amazing tool for communication, education, commerce and entertainment, but there's also a dark side. The Web gives people who have bad intentions a new tool with which to harass and defame. Good data on the problem is hard to come by, but a 2004 survey by i-Safe of 1,500 young people found that 42 percent had been bullied online and that 35 percent had been threatened.
